Commissioned by the SCDA on behalf of the school, Theatre Modo created and delivered a fun day of circus skills workshops, activities and performances for special needs pupils with a range of complex and profound learning difficulties and disabilities.

One staff member said, "I loved the tutors' interaction with the pupils - their ability to focus on their responses and act accordingly."

Another mentioned "the obvious enjoyment of two pupils interacting with the jugglers using the brightly coloured scarves."

A staff member working with an autistic child said that a magic moment for her was seeing her pupil juggling - she said that little success was "HUGE for him."

Another reported "A girl who seldom speaks said "bubbles" - the first time I have heard her say anything!" and another commented, "Pupil B spent the whole day laughing and smiling, she just had a ball all day!"
