Louise was born in Wick and studied drama at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow.

After graduating, she worked as a performer and workshop leader with Theatre Modo and many other companies including TAG, Cumbernauld Theatre, Toonspeak, Assemblea Teatro, Stalker Teatro and The Working Party. She also spent 2 years with Royal Scottish National Orchestra, devising and delivering community projects.

Louise has worked with Theatre Modo for 12 years and now works full time for the company.

Community Director and General Manager. This involves a huge variety of work: delivering circus workshops, teaching stilts and fire swinging, creating big shows, booking circus workshops, meeting with partners to chat over ideas, managing the company’s finances, writing reports, filling out forms, tidying the storage space and working with loads and loads of young people from all over Scotland!
