Pandemonium was a youth regeneration project led by Theatre Modo in partnership with the Reaching Out Project, Community Planning Partners, Shell and Aberdeenshire Council.

Over 5 weeks, Theatre Modo worked with over 500 young people from Peterhead and the surrounding area to create the performance.

Groups were involved creating routines using stilt walking, fire performance, circus, dance and street theatre. Behind the scenes others made giant puppets, skull heads, props, costumes, lanterns and banners for the event.

The result was a thrilling processional extravaganza through the streets of Peterhead. A pageant of pirates, smugglers, excise men and marooned sailors, complete with boats, naval battles, an isle of the dead, and an exploding treasure chest.
