Although Theatre Modo’s main focus is on community theatre, we continue to make occasional forays into the world of professional theatre.

Driven by a desire to attract new audiences and to expand access to theatre in Glasgow and across Scotland, Theatre Modo is dedicated to producing vibrant, exciting and uplifting shows that are artistically ambitious and socially engaging.

Specialising in highly physical, theatrically inventive and musically charged adaptations of the classics, Theatre Modo has established itself as a stylistically original and inspiring force in Scottish Theatre.

Our shows have toured extensively all over Scotland and beyond to France, Germany and Italy, winning plaudits and awards on their way.

Our current show, SICK, looks at the hidden world of being sick through the eyes of a clown. Developed with NHS and patient groups, the show is touring theatres and hospitals in Glasgow and across Scotland.
