Commissioned directly by the West End Festival in Glasgow, Theatre Modo worked with a multi ethnic group to create a stilt walking routine for the street parade. Supported by Glasgow City Council and the local Inclusion Officer the project brought together young people from different ethnic communities in Govan to encourage integration and give a shared pride and sense of achievement.

"I really like the stilts. The parade was funny and brilliant and the people were all really friendly. I think we should do more because it gets us off the streets and coming to this." Participant

"I thought this afternoon's performance was a success for all involved and I would be keen to lend any support to your project I can." Councillor

"It was really fun and interesting and the people were really friendly and walking on stilts in front of so many people was scary and exciting." Participant
