Commissioned by the Whitehills and District Community Council, Whitehills Gala Parade was a participatory project for young people in Whitehills and surrounding area. From the starting point of the local legend of the ghost of the red well, the young people created a parade and performance for the annual Gala.
"I want to add my personal gratitude for your efforts. You did exactly what we asked you to do, and the final event was impressive and hugely enjoyable, despite the challenges. I don’t think the weather did us much harm, and I heard many people say how delighted they were that we carried on regardless. Just from watching the excitement shown by the young people, we know our money was well spent, and reached the target audience we intended." Chair, Whitehills and District Community Council
"Thanks for working with us Whitehills lot and teaching us lots of things. Thanks and I hope you can do more things like this!" Participant
